Where does the race start and finish?
The Triathlon and Relay race starts and finishes at Lake Mission Viejo, 22555 Olympiad Rd, Mission Viejo, CA 92692
The Duathlon starts at Transition 2 and finishes at Lake Mission Viejo, T2 is located caddy corner of the Saddleback Church Offices, 20532 El Toro Rd, Mission Viejo, CA 92692
What time does the race start?
The Triathlon will start in waves with the first wave at 7:00am, the Duathlon will also start at 7:00am.
What's a wave start?
Wave starts are used to lessen the amount of participants in the water at the start.
When do I receive my race packet and swag?
Unless you purchased the VIP package or RaceDay Pickup, you must pick up your race gear and set up your T2 on Saturday June 1, 2019.
Where and when can I pick up my race packet?
Race packet pick up location is at Lake Mission Viejo, 22555 Olympiad Rd, Mission Viejo, CA 92692
What is included in my race packet?
Race packet will include your transition wristband, race number, bike number, helmet number, swim cap and timing chip. You'll also receive your souvenir shirt and custom draw string bag.
Are there cut-off times?
The cut-off time for the swim is 8:30 am. All participants must be on the bike by 8:40 am.
Every athlete that makes the swim cut-off will be allowed to finish, the course may divert to sidewalks towards the end of the event.
What is the water temperature at Lake Mission Viejo?
The water temp should be around 70° Fahrenheit / 21° Celsius
How far is T1 from the Swim Exit?
It's approximately 300' from the swim exit to the transition area.
Where does the Duathlon Start?
The Duathlon starts just outside of T2.
Can I rack my bike at T1 on Saturday June 1, 2019?
Yes, T1 will be open during the packet pick up and expo hours for setup. Security will be onsite overnight to watch your gear.
Are bikes provided?
No, participants will need to provide their own bike.
What is the elevation gain for the bike course?
Total elevation gain for the bike is approximately 1738'
Are there aid stations and restrooms on the run course?
Aid stations are at approximately mile 1.5, mile 3 and mile 4.5. Each aid station will have a restroom.
Do you offer refunds?
Unfortunately no. We do, however, offer deferrals up until May 1, 2019. Please contact email@example.com.
Can I add the VIP package or Raceday Pickup onto my registration?
Yes, availability pending, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
