The race is on April 27, 2025. Early check in and bike setup is available April 26, 2025.
The Olympic and Sprint Triathlon, Aquabike, 5K and Relay races start and finish at Lake Mission Viejo, 22555 Olympiad Rd, Mission Viejo, CA 92692.
The Duathlon starts at Transition 2 and finishes at Lake Mission Viejo, T2 is located caddy corner of the Saddleback Church Offices, 20532 El Toro Rd, Mission Viejo, CA 92692.
Around 7am.
Official start times will be available race week.
Wave starts are used to lessen the amount of participants in the water at the start.

Race packet will include your transition wristband, race number, bike number, helmet number, silicone swim cap and timing chip. You’ll also receive your souvenir shirt at packet pick up. Finisher Medals are given at the finish line.
The cut-off time for the swim is 8:30 am. All participants must be on the bike by 8:40 am.
Every athlete that makes the swim cut-off will be allowed to finish, the course may divert to sidewalks towards the end of the event.
The water temp should be around 65° Fahrenheit / 18° Celsius.
The Duathlon starts just outside of T2.
Yes, T1 will be open during the packet pick up and expo hours for setup. Security will be onsite overnight to watch your gear.

Total elevation gain for the Olympic bike is approximately 1738′.
Aid stations are at approximately mile 1.5, mile 3 and mile 4.5. Each aid station will have a restroom.
The Bike course will have one aid station at the top of Santiago Canyon.
The 5K course will have one aid station.
Unfortunately no. We do, however, offer deferrals for a $45.00 processing fee. Any deferral request must be submitted by 3/28/24.
